ALEJANDRO SCHMEICHLER

Founding partner of Grupo Pienza. Alejandro Schmeichler graduated from the Simón Bolívar University in Venezuela with a degree in Electronic Engineering, and earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to founding the firm, Alejandro worked in Venezuela, Israel and the United States, and acted as a consultant for important corporations in the United States and Latin America in assignments dealing with strategic planning, growth strategies, project valuations, customer value management, new market ventures. He worked as a senior consultant for DiamondCluster International in Boston. Alejandro has extensive experience in the field of telecommunications and information technology.

ANA ISABEL MARTÍNEZ-SCHMEICHLER

Founding partner of Grupo Pienza. Ana I. Martínez-Schmeichler graduated from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania where she majored in Finance, Multinational Management, and Public Policy and graduated Cum Laude. She also holds a Masters in Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic, and earned her MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to founding the firm, Ana Isabel worked in the consumer goods and cattle ranch industries. She also worked in various capacities in non-profit organizations in the Dominican Republic and in the United States. Ana Isabel has extensive experience in Finance.
